The Longbow is the most distinctive batting shape in this group. Its very low middle and sweeping bow make it a natural fit for players who commit to front-foot shots and want plenty of bat behind the ball. It is a more specialised choice than a conventional mid-profile bat, but that is exactly its appeal.
